Founded by Sallie Krawcheck, Ellevest was created by women, for women because investing was heavily marketed only to men for far too long. Sallie is a force to be reckoned with, so she decided to flip the financial investment industry on its head. When the company was founded back in 2015, Krawcheck said, “Women do not invest to the same extent that men do: a lower percent of us have started saving for retirement than men, we have saved less for retirement, and we park 68% of our money in cash.” Ellevest recently switched their services to a membership based community where you can choose between three different levels, starting at only $1 a month. Now that’s attractive and inclusive! 

We couldn't agree more with Sallie -- money, business, etc. is often geared towards men, and we’re proud that so many women are stepping up to make these subjects more accessible to women.
