Companies and Leaders, Doing Right By Their Customers and Employees

Ryno Strategic Solutions is an innovative, full-service digital marketing company specifically dedicated to helping those in the home services industry. Ryno pushes small businesses to think BIG. Companies are having to pivot, innovate, and get creative. Some are leading by example. Each week at reachXOD, we highlight companies who are going above and beyond to connect to their employees and customers during a time of uncertainty. Ryno is not only a marketing company, but one with a strong moral compass with a focus on: education, implementation, communication, and conversion.

Our team spoke with Chris Yano, Ryno’s CEO, about their business and what the year 2020 has brought. He told us that 2020 has been a great year for Ryno. They are grateful to have seen explosive growth since home services are deemed essential business. Growth is something that if you’re not prepared for, can be a challenge. It’s just as important to be prepared for the upswings as it is for the downswings. Sometimes market downswings actually create an upswing in your own business, as is what happened through the pandemic. COVID taught Ryno, along with many of their clients, that you must be willing to go outside your comfort zone. When your back is against the wall, it forces you to think differently, innovate and reach markets that you may not have beforehand. Chris also shared insights on company survival: companies that will survive this pandemic are the companies with a strong brand story. The days are gone when you can just have a nice logo. You need a compelling story with that logo that will connect to people. Chris believes this so much so that Ryno is in the process of acquiring a branding company to take his and his clients’ brands to a new level of success.

In January of 2020, Ryno launched a successful podcast called “To The Point Home Services” which features their CEO Chris Yano and “Tall” Paul Redman, VP of Sales. Thanks to their partnership with Gary Vaynerchuk (also known as “Gary Vee”) and The Sasha Group, they decided to dive into the podcast world full force. The podcast has picked up momentum, leveraging up to 8,000 downloads an episode and focuses on “top-notch strategies” in areas such as SEO, call listening and reporting, website design, live chat, and other elements. As Chris likes to say on the podcast, “be the dumbest guy in the room” because surrounding yourself with smart people will only propel you and your business forward. Ask for guidance. Ask tough questions. Be curious. Look for opportunities to serve markets outside of your current markets. Think differently. Don’t miss the episode with our CEO, Ashlee Aldridge, discussing all things business planning for small businesses and the importance of learning from big businesses. It’s a kickstarter conversation on how to take those lessons from big business, and apply them, if you want your business to explode.

At reachXOD, we admire Ryno Strategic Solutions as a business with integrity. Ryno makes it clear that they are on a mission to make marketing for small businesses approachable and easy.
